Earth-friendly competition for 3rd and 4th graders

at the 38th anniversary celebration of Earth Day

 When:  Saturday, April 19, 2008 from 1:00 p.m. to Dark

Where:  Sawyer Point Park, Cincinnati, Ohio     Contest Time: To Be Determined

 

With Earth Day 2008 quickly approaching we would like to introduce area students to the

 benefits of recycling in a way that would be fun for the entire class.  This contest is open

 to third and fourth grade students from area schools as an enjoyable and educational way

to  involve these young ecologists in  Earth Day’s 38th Anniversary celebration.

 

Third and Fourth Grade Recycling Costume and Poster Contest Objective:

            types of  recycled/reused items applied to the costume.

*TEACHER OR AUTHORIZED ADULT MUST ACCOMPANY THE STUDENTS TO THE STAGE AREA
