| Earth Day 2000 was an exciting day of events that included the Cincinnati Zoo, "green activities," and musical performances by Bob Mould (the founder of Husker Du, a seminal punk band from Minneapolis, MN), The Clyde Bailey Band, Baghdad Jones, Big in Iowa, Rockets to Mars, Cobra Verde, and Splashdown.
Sponsors included: The Greater Cincinnati Earth Coalition, WOXY, WNKU, Cinergy, Fluor Fernald, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
