| Earth Day 2002 marked the 32nd anniversary of Earth Day! The Greater Cincinnati Earth Coalition planned a great celebration with the help of sponsors Cinergy, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Fluor Fernald, Inc., Toyota, American Airlines, and Clear Channel Worldwide Communication. The event took place on Fountain Square with the theme "This Land is Your Land..."
The activities included a proclomation from the mayor, recognition of the 2002 environmental award winners, and musical offerings of Ryan Adcock, a 2002 Cammy award winner. Other musical guests included the Vic Daniels Quartet and the Bacchanal Steel Band.
